Once Victor Creed and Logan are safely settled, Thor goes to find Baze.

And once that's done, he goes looking for X.

First stop: the main bar. If he doesn't find her there, he'll leave a note with Bar, check that the clean-up of all that blood and disemboweling is underway, and go looking elsewhere. Either he'll find her, or she'll find him looking for her soon enough.

The hats were a joke, Thor.

"I can ask. I do not know if they get bored."

Yes, but he doesn't really get them in the baseball context either. They're so flimsy. And no shimmer or wings or anything!

"Nor I."

And this joke has probably been played about as far as it'll reach.

It's his turn to punch X's shoulder, very gently. "So, my friend. We have the start of a plan, I think."

X doesn't, either. She just rolls with the custom. And the children like them.

She rocks with the punch, leaning her shoulder into Thor's bicep in righteous vengeance.

Yeah. That.

"We do. I do. It will be okay."

A pause.

"Eventually."

"It will," he says, comfortably.

(It's nice to have a problem he can address by flinging people across a lake, too.)

"Come, Lady X. Your brother and his foe need not hear your judgment immediately. Would you spar, or share a meal?"

X considers this, but not for very long. One of those options sounds much better than the other, just now.

"The clearing. Then food. But I do not know if you have time for both."

He had a hunch one of them might, yeah.

He smiles at her. "I have time. Are you not my friend?"

Also, time stops back home when he comes here. So.

"I am," X says simply.

"That is true."

She shoves her shoulder into Thor one more time, then starts heading toward the forest, and the bloody clearing that lies deeper within it.

"Then let us see if I can skip you five times."

Time for some good friendly horrifically gory sparring time!

Outside and away from the easily unnerved, because unlike some they are good and responsible Milliways denizens.
