Once Victor Creed and Logan are safely settled, Thor goes to find Baze.
And once that's done, he goes looking for X.
First stop: the main bar. If he doesn't find her there, he'll leave a note with Bar, check that the clean-up of all that blood and disemboweling is underway, and go looking elsewhere. Either he'll find her, or she'll find him looking for her soon enough.

"Thor. You saw? What happened."
no subject
Hello, Lady X.
"I told them two days in the cells to begin with, and that you or I would hand down the full sentence after consulting."
He's peeved, but X is about as furious as he's ever seen her. (Siblings are like that.)
no subject
They're like Moriarty that way. Different, but --
"Chores will not, either. It is not the right kind of irritating."
The scowl between her brows is deeper than Thor has probably ever seen it.
"I told them. Both. Violence is better outside."
no subject
He just, you know. Got that vibe somehow.
"I told them the same, afterwards. Neither seemed in a mood to listen."
no subject
A pause, as she considers what she knows of both Sabretooth and her brother.
"Maybe I will make them meditate. A lot. With me."
no subject
His mother tried similar things occasionally, with him. They never really took, unless they were directly connected to mastering his powers. But she knows them better than he does!
Also this might just be to annoy and supervise them, in which case HAVE FUN, X.
no subject
"But frustration is sometimes useful for dissuasion."
Beat.
"Embarrassment, too."
no subject
"Indeed, Lady X." He claps her shoulder, brief and hearty.
"I confess, I hoped you would know well enough what chastisement would annoy them usefully."
no subject
“I am better than I used to be. At that.”
All the practice she has gotten here really helps!
no subject
"And he's your brother."
So, like, obviously knowing how to annoy him is an important skill.
"I'll tell you what I know of the bout, and then we will plan."
no subject
“They are not good. Logan and Creed. At breathing the same air. Without fighting.”
no subject
"Creed gave the reason as 'his existence.'"
So, yeah, he kind of got a hint of that one.
"I didn't see the beginning. Nor did Baze Malbus. He was the one who came upon them fighting. He stepped in, to no avail, then called for backup."
no subject
Now X does sigh.
"It will only happen again. Later."
Beat.
"He was hurt? By stepping in. They do not stop easily. And he is human."
no subject
"A wild swipe of Creed's claws. He's mending in the infirmary. He struck back well enough, before that, but he was outmatched. And only Logan was avoiding hurting him."
And, uh, not working that hard to avoid it. In that he didn't take the fight outdoors or up to the rafters or something.
"No one else was injured, to my knowledge. Then I came, and made them cease."
no subject
If she were a betting woman she would lay money on it.
"It is good you were here. I was not."
Otherwise some people would have gotten a lot more bloody. Or been inconveniently suffocated when the oxygen turned into nitrogen. Maybe both.
no subject
Reluctantly and with ill grace, but Thor's willing to roll with that.
He hefts his hammer a little. "I thought I might need to set Mjölnir on one of them to enforce some calm, but I did not." Although that trick is always kind of satisfying. So useful! So annoying to the person it's being done to!
no subject
X's shoulders are tense, now, as she ponders the meetings to come.
"I will also remind Logan that he does not get to say that. Here. It is not his job."
no subject
"He can say what he likes. I told him not under this roof, I did not."
"Next time I can throw them both outside, if you like. Perhaps across the lake."
Fastball special?
no subject
"Try to skip them five times. Each."
no subject
"I will tell you if I succeed."
He will, too! They're like X; they can deal with some blunt trauma from water.
"We will ask the squid to assist if need be."
no subject
"You think they know how to play baseball? The squid."
Beat.
"Or cricket."
no subject
She's got practice!
Okay, with human children, but tomayto, tomahto.
no subject
Bar can probably help!
no subject
Riiiight, those funny flimsy cap things the kids were wearing. Earth fashions are so weird sometimes.
"Do they also require marked tunics?"
Team jerseys, Thor.
no subject
"Unless more of them is coming out of the water. Baseball gloves will also be difficult. For them."
no subject
The hats seem unnecessary to him too, frankly, but Thor respects making a unified aesthetic choice for your team. And foreign customs are what they are.
"Unless they wish them."
no subject
"I can ask. I do not know if they get bored."
no subject
"Nor I."
And this joke has probably been played about as far as it'll reach.
It's his turn to punch X's shoulder, very gently. "So, my friend. We have the start of a plan, I think."
no subject
She rocks with the punch, leaning her shoulder into Thor's bicep in righteous vengeance.
Yeah. That.
"We do. I do. It will be okay."
A pause.
"Eventually."
no subject
(It's nice to have a problem he can address by flinging people across a lake, too.)
"Come, Lady X. Your brother and his foe need not hear your judgment immediately. Would you spar, or share a meal?"
no subject
"The clearing. Then food. But I do not know if you have time for both."
no subject
He smiles at her. "I have time. Are you not my friend?"
Also, time stops back home when he comes here. So.
no subject
"That is true."
She shoves her shoulder into Thor one more time, then starts heading toward the forest, and the bloody clearing that lies deeper within it.
no subject
Time for some good friendly horrifically gory sparring time!
Outside and away from the easily unnerved, because unlike some they are good and responsible Milliways denizens.
